Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home hospice care in the Carrollton, TX area. You will deliver safe, quality care aligned with the patient’s plan of care under the RN case manager, while maintaining confidentiality and compassionate communication with families.

The role requires at least one year of CNA experience, a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and CPR certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience.
• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Must have Driver's License and vehicle insurance.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• *Ability to drive own vehicle.
• *At least two years certified nursing assistant experience with preferably one year experience in the Hospice setting.
• *Demonstrates the ability to travel extensively during all seasons and to work in various home conditions / environments as assigned.
• *Emotionally mature and stable.
• *Good verbal and written communications required.
• *Must be able to read and write and be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• *Must be at least (18) years of age.
• *Must have and must maintain divers license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile coverage.
• *Neat, pleasant demeanor and professional appearance.
• *Skilled in nursing personal care and able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles.

*BLS Certification must be obtained within 30 days from hire.
