Job summary

Mt Olympus Rehab in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Our team prioritizes high-quality resident care and offers a Nursing Tuition Reimbursement program up to $500 a month pre-tax, subject to 90-day completion and part/full-time status.

Full-time CNAs work 5 days a week with 8-hour shifts (6 AM–2 PM, 2 PM–10 PM, 10 PM–6 AM). Benefits include 401(k), medical/dental/life/vision, and 12 days of PTO for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification in good standing issued by Utah.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Able to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of medical/nursing practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine need.
• Turn and reposition residents in bed.
• Provide physical support for daily living activities (bathing, dressing, eating, walking).
• Review dietary restrictions and preferences for appropriate meals.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

Mt Olympus Rehab and Nursing in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)! We are a close-knit group where providing our residents the best care possible is our #1 priority. We strive to improve the lives of our residents and their families, as well as our staff.

We care about our CNAs and want to provide opportunities for them - which is why we have a "Nursing Tuition Reimbursement" program, where you can receive up to $500 a month (pre-tax) to go to nursing school. No contract required, but we do require that you work part time or full time, and finish your first 90-days with us to be eligible for this program.

Schedule: Our CNAs are able to enjoy 8-hour shifts! Day shifts are from 6 AM to 2 PM, Swing shifts are from 2 PM to 10 PM, while night shifts are from 10 PM to 6 AM

• Full Time CNAs work 5 days a week
• Part Time CNAs work 2-3 days a week
• PRN CNAs work on a "as-needed/available" schedule

Job Description:

• Answer residents' call lights to determine need
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff

Requirements:

• An active CNA Certification, in good standing, issued by the state of Utah
• Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
• Able to make decisions independently when warranted
• Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care
