Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, Illinois. CNAs provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision of nursing and psychiatric staff, assisting with personal hygiene and daily living tasks while monitoring vital signs.

The evening shift pays $22.77/hr with an evening differential; schedule features 3p-11p shifts, five 8-hour days per week with rotating weekends off and rotating Tue/Thu off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required.
• CNA licensure in Maryland required.
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Must be actively certified in CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, daily living activities and monitoring vital signs.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Pay Rate: $22.77/hr + evening shift differential

Shift: Evenings (3p-11p) 5, 8hr shifts per week - rotating weekends off/ rotating Tues/Thurs off

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Maryland required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
