Centurion Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, IL. The role involves direct patient care for incarcerated individuals under nursing supervision, including assistance with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and vital signs monitoring.

The position is full-time with an evening shift (3pm-11pm) and every other weekend. Compensation starts at $22.77 per hour plus comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification is required.
• CNA licensure in Illinois is required.
• Training/experience as nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

This is a FT, evening shift position working 3pm-11pm, and every other weekend.

Pay rate: $22.77/hr

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Illinois required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
