Job summary

Centurion Health in Pinckneyville, IL seeks a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Medical team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center. This night-shift role focuses on direct patient care for incarcerated individuals under supervision.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED and Illinois CNA licensure, with CPR/BLS certification. Experience in healthcare or corrections is preferred; security clearance and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required.
• CNA licensure in Illinois required.
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals.
• Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center located in Pinckneyville, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Illinois required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Full-Time Night

The schedule includes rotating weekends. Weeks 1 and 3, you will have Sunday and Friday off. Weeks 2 and 4, you will have Monday and Saturday off. The schedule consists of 5 shifts/week, 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.
