Select Specialty Hospital - Milwaukee - West Allis is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Milwaukee location. This full-time day shift (7:00am–7:00pm) role supports post-ICU patients with compassionate, high-quality care in a critical illness recovery hospital.

Responsibilities include bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, hourly rounds, patient transport, and maintaining clean rooms and equipment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field or active RN student.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, and feeding.
• Conduct hourly rounds to check on patients.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and rooms.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
