Select Specialty Hospital in Daytona Beach is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts (7am-7pm). A $2500 sign-on bonus is offered. The role involves direct patient care, daily rounds, and assisting with mobility and hygiene in a critical illness recovery setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, CNA certification, or related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

- BLS is required within 90 days of hire

- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
