Job summary

Centurion is hiring a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, IL. The CNA will support nursing, medical and psychiatric staff by delivering direct patient care to incarcerated individuals, assisting with hygiene and daily living activities, and monitoring vital signs.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and CNA certification, CPR/BLS, and eligibility for security clearance.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Logan Correctional Center located in Lincoln, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Shift: FT NIGHT

Pay rate: $22/hr + night shift differential

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Maryland required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
