Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant for Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, IL. The role involves direct patient care to incarcerated individuals, supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs, and monitoring vital signs under supervision of nursing and medical staff.

The position is a night shift (11pm-7am), full-time with every other weekend. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), paid time off and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required.
• CNA licensure in Illinois required.
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

This is a full time night shift position working 11pm-7am, and every other weekend.

Pay rate: $22.77/hr

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Illinois required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
