Job summary

Gundersen Health is seeking a CNA to join the Hospital Float Pool to support inpatient units including medical-surgical, pediatrics and inpatient behavioral health. You will also assist in transporting patients for procedures, therapy and imaging across the facility.

The role is 0.8 FTE (64 hours bi-weekly) with 8-hour day shifts. No weekend work, three holidays per year, and a starting pay of $18.64 per hour plus shift differentials and overtime considerations.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required.
• Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (HCP) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient units in the hospital float pool (medical-surgical, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health).
• Transport patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy, X-ray, etc.

What You Do

• 0.8 FTE, 64 hours bi-weekly
• Work 8-hour Day shifts (6:30am - 3:00pm, 7:30am-4:00pm and 8:30am-5:00pm). Monday-Friday
• No Weekends!
• Three holidays a year

What You’ll Need

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
