Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Hospital Float Pool. You will cover inpatient units such as medical-surgical, pediatrics and inpatient behavioral health, and assist with transporting patients for procedures and tests.

This 0.4 FTE position offers 32 hours bi-weekly with eight-hour day shifts (6:30am–3:00pm), every other weekend, and three holidays per year.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin CNA certification required.
• BLS for Health Care Providers certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient units in medical-surgical, pediatrics and inpatient behavioral health.
• Assist with transporting patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy and x-ray.
• Support float pool needs and ensure patient safety and comfort.

We are seeking a CNA in the Hospital Float Pool to help cover inpatient units, such as medical-surgical, pediatrics and inpatient behavioral health. You will also help with transporting patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy, x-ray etc.

What You Do

• 0.4 FTE, 32 hours bi-weekly
• Work 8-hour Day shifts (6:30am - 3:00pm)
• Work every other weekend and three holidays a year

What You'll Need

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
