Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Wisconsin CNA for a Hospital Float Pool role. You will cover inpatient units including medical-surgical, pediatrics, and behavioral health, and assist with patient transport for procedures and imaging.

Position is 0.5 FTE with 40 hours bi-weekly, day and night shifts, and alternating weekends with three holidays per year. BLS certification and active WI CNA required; competitive pay and benefits offered.

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient units in the Hospital Float Pool (MS, pediatrics, behavioral health).
• Transport patients for procedures, therapy, x-ray, etc.
• Work 0.5 FTE with 40 hours bi-weekly and alternating day/night shifts.

We are seeking a CNA in the Hospital Float Pool to help cover inpatient units, such as medical-surgical, pediatrics and inpatient behavioral health. You will also help with transporting patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy, x-ray etc.

What You Do

0.5 FTE, 40 hours bi-weekly

Work 8-hour Day/Nights shifts (6:30am - 3:00pm and 10:30pm-7:00am)

Work every other weekend and three holidays a year

What You’ll Need

Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.
