Job summary

Bluevalleyhrc in Kansas is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to deliver compassionate care to residents. The 2:15-10:45pm shift is available, with weekend differential opportunities.

You will join a supportive team that values quality, safety, and person-centered care. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, responding to call lights, maintaining infection control, and documenting care per policy.

Qualifications

• To qualify for the position, you will need: CNA certification in Kansas.
• A caring and loving personality and demeanor.
• The ability to read, write and speak English.
• The ability to work your scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the vibrancy and quality of life of our residents.
• Helping residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, dressing, transferring, walking, bathing, toileting and hygiene.
• Promptly responding to resident call lights.
• Preparing residents for therapy, activities and appointments.
• Following infection control procedures.
• Documenting and charting care for each resident.
• Protecting residents’ rights.
• Adhering to policies and standards.

Qualifications & Details:

To qualify for the position, you will need:

1. Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in State of Kansas

2. A caring & loving personality and demeanor

3. The ability to work your scheduled shift

4. The ability to read, write & speak English

As a certified nursing assistant (CNA) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
