Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care to our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, observe residents, and support the care team to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualified CNAs will hold a valid certification and demonstrate a caring personality, reliability, and ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Training and supportive leadership are provided to help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to work scheduled shift including every other weekend and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Enhance residents' quality of life and well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, dressing, transferring, walking, bathing, toileting and hygiene support.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
• Prepare residents for therapy sessions, activities and appointments.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Document and chart care provided for each resident.
• Protect residents' rights and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to facility policies and standards.

Qualifications & Details:

To qualify for the position, you will need:

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• A caring & loving personality and demeanor
• The ability to work your scheduled shift, which includes every other weekend and holiday
• The ability to read, write & speak English

As a certified nursing assistant (CNA) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing the vibrancy and quality of life of our residents
• Helping residents throughout the day with their activities of daily living (ADLs), which are: eating, dressing, transferring, walking, bathing, toileting & hygiene support
