Job summary
Rehab of Kansas City South is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Day Shift. This full-time role offers 6:20 AM-2:30 PM hours and requires a CNA certification or enrollment in a CNA program, with 6 months experience preferred.
You will provide compassionate daily care and support to residents in a safe, respectful environment. You will assist with activities of daily living, take resident rounds, report information to the nursing team, keep rooms clean and safe, and follow
Qualifications
- CNA certification required or currently enrolled in a CNA program
- Minimum 6 months CNA experience preferred or clinical CNA exposure
- Reliable, compassionate approach to resident care
- Ability to collaborate with residents, families, nurses and the healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Make rounds and respond to resident needs
- Record and report resident information as directed
- Make beds and keep rooms clean and safe
- Keep water pitchers within residents' reach
- Follow facility policies and safety regulations
- Report needs to the Charge Nurse or supervisor
- Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver quality care
