Job summary

The Shores in Ocean City, NJ (part of United Methodist Communities) is seeking a Memory Care Certified Medication Aide on a part-time night shift. Earn $23.00 to $25.55 hourly, with shift differentials and benefits. You will administer medications under the RN, monitor responses, assist residents with daily care, and communicate with families and the nurse. Active NJ CMA and CNA certifications are required, dementia care experience preferred.

Memory Care Certified Medication Aide

Earn $23.00 to $25.55 an hour as a part-time Certified Medication Aide in memory care at The Shores in Ocean City, NJ. Part-time night shift. We aim contact every applicant within 48 hours.

Who you'll care for

You’ll support residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia in the memory care neighborhood at The Shores, a United Methodist Communities retirement community.

What you’ll do

• Give residents their medications as delegated by the RN, following New Jersey rules and our policies
• Watch for and write down how residents respond to their medications, and tell the nurse right away about any changes
• Help residents with daily care like dressing, bathing, meals, and moving around safely
• Keep families and teammates up to date, and bring questions or concerns to the nurse quickly

What you need

Required:

• Active New Jersey Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification from the NJ Department of Health.
• Active New Jersey CNA certification

Preferred:

• Experience caring for people living with dementia
