Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Medical team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center in Pinckneyville, Illinois.

CNAs work under nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care, assist with hygiene, daily living activities, and vital sign monitoring for incarcerated individuals. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Illinois CNA licensure, and CPR/BLS certification, with a night shift and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• CNA certification required.
• Illinois CNA licensure required.
• Training/certification as nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervising staff.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center located in Pinckneyville, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Illinois required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Full-Time Night

The schedule includes rotating weekends.
