Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, IL. The CNA will provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision of nursing and medical staff, assist with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and vital signs.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CNA certification, and CPR/BLS; Maryland licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification required.
• CNA licensure in Maryland required.

Job Details: Job Location: Lawrence Correctional Center - Sumner, IL 62466, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Night, Job Category: Medical Technician & Support, Hourly salary of $22.77+/hour.

We offer an evening differential of $4/hour and a night differential of $3/hour.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Lawrence Correctional Center located in Sumner, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Maryland required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
