Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the team at Illinois River Correctional Center in Canton, IL. The CNA will provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.

You will assist with personal hygiene, daily living activities, vital signs, and health monitoring for incarcerated individuals. Valid CNA certification and CPR/BLS are required, and security clearance background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional settings preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision.
• Support personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with routine care and comfort measures as needed.
