Resthaven is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time roles in Michigan. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff, and the organization will cover the cost of CNA certification and provide training to help you succeed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Michigan state-approved CNA certification required.
• Current Michigan CNA certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Learn individualized resident care plans and provide services per plan.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility and other needs.
• Lift and transport residents while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Maintain infection control and sanitize work areas.

Pay Range

• $16.50 - $20.00 + Shift Differential
  • Pay is based on experience and applicable licensure

Employment Type & Schedule

• Full-Time
  • 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
  • 3rd Shift (11:00 AM - 7:30 AM)

Essential Responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Learn and know individualized care plans for residents and provide services to resident according to care plan.
• Provide assistance or total care for grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, turning, repositioning, or other needs.
• Lift, move, and transport residents.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each resident in the delivery of services.
• Clean and sanitize workrooms, equipment, and resident units.
• Ensure compliance with established infection control procedures.
• Observe, chart, and report changes in resident condition or behavior to appropriate licensed nursing personnel.
• Answer resident’s requests for service promptly.
• Perform various tasks including vital signs, resident’s weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, etc.
• Float between all units depending on the need.
• Assumes all other position related responsibilities as assigned.

Education, Training, Experience

• High school graduate or successful completion of GED.
• Successful completion of a Michigan state approved nurse assistant certification course or other education that meets state certification requirements.
• Must hold current nurse assistant certification in Michigan.

Required Licenses, Registration, and/or Certifications

• Successful completion of a Michigan state approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or other education that meets state certification requirements.
• Must hold current nurse assistant certification in Michigan.
