Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Alabama.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and hygiene.
• Support the nursing team by monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and input/output as directed.
• Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
• Participate in care planning and implementation under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
