Job summary

St. Joseph's Living Center in Connecticut is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care to residents. You will support with ADLs, monitor health, and assist licensed nurses under supervision.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and schedule options including Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN, with a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the CT state registry.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff promptly.
• Provide basic patient care under the direction of licensed nurses, including repositioning, transferring, and assisting with mobility to prevent falls and pressure injuries.
• Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging engagement in meaningful daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment by following infection control protocols, responding to call lights, and ensuring residents' comfort and safety throughout the shift.
