Job summary

Regency Wenatchee is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our state-of-the-art facility. We offer great patient ratios and an amazing team/family environment, with full-time or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.
• Experience in patient care and following care plans.
• Good communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and relay changes to care planning staff.
• Attend to residents' needs including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Maintain skin integrity by turning/positioning residents and applying moisturizers.
• Protect residents' personal belongings and report missing items as required.
• Take vital signs, monitor weights, document care, and use proper body mechanics.
• Document care in accordance with policy and report concerns.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and communicate with residents, families, and staff.

As a CNA, you provide quality nursing care and promote resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You also provide individualized attention and encourage residents to maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

You Will:

• Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
• Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements
• Maintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
• Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
• Document care in keeping with department policies
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

You Currently:

• Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.
