Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care in our skilled nursing community. You will support residents' clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs with attention to dignity and safety.

The role emphasizes following Individualized Service Plans, assisting with ADLs, reporting vital signs, and collaborating with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification per state regulations required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records.
• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times.
