Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care that supports residents’ clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs in our skilled nursing community.

As part of our team, you will deliver care based on ISP, assist with ADLs, report vital signs and changes, partner with licensed nurses on care plans, support fall prevention and skin care, maintain accurate records, and follow

• Active CNA certification per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records.
• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times.
