Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina, a brand-new facility in Pinehurst, NC, seeks Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team. Under supervision, CNAs will provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and support nutrition and vital signs documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding.
• Provide person-centered care to each resident based on their care plan.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Perform patient care as directed by RN/LPN in a safe manner according to policy and procedure.
• Respond directly to patient requests and communicate needs.
• Assist in transferring residents.
• Document care records for each resident on each shift.
• Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident.
• Possess effective communication skills with residents, loved ones, and staff.

Applicant must have current nursing aide certification in NC. Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide person-centered care to each resident based on their care plan.

• Perform patient care as directed by Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in a safe manner according to policy and procedure.
• Respond directly to patient requests and appropriately communicate the patient's needs.
• Assist in properly transferring residents.
• Document records of care for every assigned resident on each shift.
• Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident.
• Possess effective communication skills to interact with residents, their loved ones, and other staff members.
