Job summary

Heritage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time role. This CNA position covers 3-11 and 11-7 shifts, with daily pay options and a generous sign-on for full-time hires.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, and collaborate with licensed staff to ensure compassionate, high-quality care in a 100-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Rhode Island CNA license.
• Valid BLS/ CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision in a safe, compassionate manner.
• Assist residents with ADLs including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linen changes.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable environment promoting dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.

• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.

• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Rhode Island.

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.

• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
