Job summary

Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Westerly, RI, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our compassionate care team. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with 7 AM-3 PM, 3 PM-11 PM, and 11 PM-7 AM shifts, on the RI/CT border.

Same-day pay and competitive compensation are provided. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, observing changes, and promoting a safe, respectful environment under licensed staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Current, active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to work with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
