Job description

Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) for our skilled nursing department. C.N.A.s assist professional nurses in providing care to residents according to their individualized care plans, emphasizing a restorative philosophy to enhance residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide emotional and physical support to promote residents' independence, including assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, and ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
2. Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
3. Communicate any changes in residents' condition to the nurse immediately.
4. Perform tasks as directed by the Unit Manager.
5. Complete documentation such as progress notes, meal and fluid intake, bowel sheets, and ADL records.
6. Communicate positively with residents, families, and co-workers.
7. Respect residents' rights to privacy and dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current Illinois C.N.A. Certification
• Current CPR Card
