Job summary

Sage View Healthcare in Rock Springs, WY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a variety of duties caring for residents in the center, in accordance with the plan of care and established long-term care standards.

You will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toiletry and oral hygiene, help with meals, take vital signs, document care, and support teammates to deliver quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of employment.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents or assists them to walk.
• Turns and re-positions residents as needed.
• Takes and records vital signs, intake/output, and weight as directed.
• Completes documentation.

Essential Functions:

• Answers signal lights
• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance
• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.
• Completes documentation

Qualifications:

• Required:Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment
• Required:High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to work well in a team setting
