Job summary

Right at Home Torrance is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care and companionship for seniors in their own homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will assist with daily activities, mobility, and safety, delivering compassionate, personalized support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required; HCA certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Excellent reading, writing, and spoken English is essential.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insured transportation.
• Able to pass a background check and reside in the South Bay area.

Responsibilities

• Help clients move safely within their home.
• Provide light housekeeping (dishes, vacuuming, laundry, etc.).
• Prepare nourishing meals and snacks.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Offer medication reminders as needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Support mobility and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide engaging companionship – conversation, music, puzzles, etc.
• Provide specialized dementia care as needed.
