NHS Management, LLC in Pleasant Grove, AL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities and work closely with nurses to ensure comfort and safety.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $14.60–$18.00 based on experience, plus medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays, and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state you are applying for.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to varying shift schedules.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Document of care provided and observations in accordance with facility policies.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
