Job summary

Civic Center Health And Rehabilitation LLC in Birmingham, AL is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meals, while working closely with nurses to ensure safety and comfort.

Provide mobility assistance, monitor health changes, document observations, and uphold infection control and safety standards in a warm, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state you are applying for
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to varying shift schedules.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.

• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Document of care provided and observations in accordance with facility policies.
