Hendrix Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with nurses to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, and document observations to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in the state you are applying for.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to varying shift schedules.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Document of care provided and observations in accordance with facility policies.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
