Job summary

Avante at Ormond Beach is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to perform direct care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel and to support residents’ daily living activities in a positive environment.

Full- and part-time roles are available on all shifts, with shift differentials and opportunities for daily pay. Avante offers a comprehensive benefits package, tuition reimbursement, and a collaborative team culture focused on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet state/federal guidelines.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Completion of high school or GED, or ability to read/write and follow oral commands in English.
• Previous experience or completion of a training course for CNAs.
• Positive attitude toward elderly.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Must Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements or training to satisfactory complete the requirements or in training to satisfactory complete the requirements to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of high school or GED equivalent or otherwise show the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English
• Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course
• Positive attitude toward elderly
• Must be eligible for clearance through abuse registry and Department of Law enforcement.

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
