Job summary

Avante at Jacksonville Beach is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to perform direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents. Shift differential are available and there are both full-time and part-time 3p-11p options.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED or ability to read/write and follow oral commands in English.
• Previous CNA training or experience.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Must be eligible for background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with daily living activities and resident comfort.
• Monitor residents and report changes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements or be in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of high school or GED equivalent or otherwise show the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English
• Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course
• Positive attitude toward the elderly
• Must be eligible for clearance through abuse registry and Department of Law enforcement

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
