Job summary

ExcelCare Norwood is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in providing hands-on resident care and maintaining dignity, safety, and comfort.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (meals, hydration, turning, ambulation).
• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care.
• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document food and fluid intake and care provided.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas.
• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed.
• Support nurses and other team members with resident needs.
• Follow facility policies, professional standards, and regulations.
• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality.

CNA Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meals, hydration, turning, repositioning, and ambulation
• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care
• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements
• Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Document food and fluid intake and care provided
• Help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas
• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed
• Support nurses and other members of the care team with resident needs
• Follow facility policies, professional standards, and state and federal regulations
• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
