Job summary

ExcelCare Norwood is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will provide hands-on care to residents, supporting comfort, dignity, and safety in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, personal hygiene, feeding, and reporting changes to the nursing staff. A current CNA certification is required, with good communication and teamwork abilities. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/license.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meals, hydration, turning, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care.
• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements.
• Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
• Document food and fluid intake and care provided.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas.
• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed.
• Support nurses and other members of the care team with resident needs.
• Follow facility policies, professional standards, and state and federal regulations.
• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
