Job summary

ExcelCare At Dover is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You’ll provide hands-on care to residents, support daily living activities, and help maintain comfort, dignity, and safety in our long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a current CNA certification, shows empathy, communicates clearly with residents and the care team, and works well in a collaborative environment to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/license.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including meals and hydration.
• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care.
• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document food and fluid intake and care provided.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living areas.
• Transport residents as needed and support the care team.
• Follow facility policies and protect resident privacy.

CNA Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meals, hydration, turning, repositioning, and ambulation

• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care

• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements

• Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to nursing staff

• Document food and fluid intake and care provided

• Help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas

• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed

• Support nurses and other members of the care team with resident needs

• Follow facility policies, professional standards, and state and federal regulations

• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times

CNA Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/license

• Previous experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or a healthcare setting preferred
