Job summary

Briarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Needham, MA is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our team. This PRN opportunity offers daily pay and competitive shift differentials while delivering resident-centered care in a warm, supportive environment.

You will assist with activities of daily living, observe and report changes, maintain safety, and collaborate with licensed staff to ensure comfort and dignity for residents. Must hold MA CNA license and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active MA CNA license.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision in a safe, compassionate manner.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, linen changes).
• Offer supportive care to meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment promoting dignity.
• Support the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.

• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.

• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of MA.

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.

• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
