MediLodge of Montrose is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team of patient-centered caregivers. Starting wages range from $19.65 to $25.90 per hour and compensation is based on experience, shift, plus incentive programs with flexible pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed, and ambulation for short distances.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and intake/output.

Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision, provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Experience:

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Job Functions:
