Job summary

Golden Merced Care Center in Merced, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality nursing care that respects residents’ rights, dignity, and individuality while promoting well-being and timely response to call lights.

This is a full-time role with day and evening shifts. Requires HS diploma, current CA CNA certification, First Aid and CPR, and prior long-term care experience is preferred. The role includes ADL support, meal assistance, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required (CA).
• Current First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene (ADLs).

Full-Time Days (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Full-Time Evenings (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Job Summary:

Golden Merced Care Centerin is seeking aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)to provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment which promotes resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and their individuality while providing individualized attention and encouraging residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and answering residents' call lights promptly and courteously.

Essential Functions:

• Answers signal lights.
• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance
• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.
• Completes documentation

Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold current CNA Certification in State employed.
• A minimum of three months' prior Nursing Assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the resident, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
