Job summary

McClure Post Acute in Illinois is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team on all shifts. This full-time role offers AM, PM and NOC shifts with starting pay of $23.00-$26.00 per hour (DOE).

As a CNA you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor well-being, document care, and collaborate with nurses to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification required.
• Compassionate, dependable and patient-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, mobility).
• Provide resident-centered care with dignity, comfort and independence.
• Build positive relationships through companionship and attentive care.
• Respond to resident needs and call lights promptly.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
• Build positive relationships with residents through companionship and attentive care
• Respond promptly and appropriately to resident needs and call lights
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs
• Accurately document care provided according to facility policies and procedures
• Review shift reports and care assignments to promote continuity of care
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living and care areas
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
