Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Can foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• A passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
• Observes residents and reports to nursing any changes in physical, mental, and emotional condition.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Train new staff members and provide ongoing training to existing employees.
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed during the shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory control, including receiving and stocking supplies.
• Communicate any issues or concerns to upper management in a timely manner.
