Job Overview:

Join our team as a Nursing Assistant and be a vital part of our healthcare community. We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide exceptional care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, senior care centers, and behavioral health facilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Medical Specialty:Geriatrics

Physical Setting: Long term care Nursing home

Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: Virginia issued CAN License, CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute: Yes

Duties:

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Monitor and record vital signs accurately to ensure patient well-being.

Provide empathetic care and emotional support to patients in need.

Maintain strict patient confidentiality following all HIPAA regulations.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals in administering medical procedures and treatments.

Keep detailed and precise medical records for effective patient care.

Support patients in senior care, inpatient, behavioral health, and medical-surgical environments.

Experience:

Prior experience in medical-surgical, senior care, or behavioral health settings is advantageous.

Familiarity with basic life support techniques and vital sign monitoring.

Exposure to Cerner or other electronic medical records systems is a plus.

Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) may be beneficial.
