Job summary

Artis Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Kearny, NJ is seeking motivated CNAs to join a compassionate team dedicated to high-quality, resident-centered care in a warm, home-like setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor comfort and safety, document changes, and collaborate with nurses to deliver holistic care while promoting dignity and connections with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in New Jersey (state-issued).
• Demonstrates compassion and respect in resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized daily living care (bathing, grooming, dressing, meals) with dignity.
• Monitor residents' comfort, safety, and wellbeing, responding promptly to changes.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Keep rooms and common areas clean, organized and sanitary.
• Document changes in residents' condition and care plans accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff to deliver holistic, individualized care.
• Engage residents in activities to support physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Your Role as a CNA

You’ll play an essential part in enhancing residents’ comfort, safety, and quality of life by:

• Providing Personalized Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals while respecting each resident’s dignity.

• Promoting Comfort & Safety: Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional well-being and responding to changes with care and attentiveness.

• Fostering Connections: Building meaningful relationships with residents and families, creating trust and a true sense of belonging.

• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring residents’ rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and sanitary.

• Accurate Documentation: Recording and reporting changes in residents’ conditions and care plans to support effective teamwork.

• Collaborating with the Team: Working alongside nurses and healthcare staff to deliver individualized, holistic care.

• Enhancing Quality of Life: Engaging residents in activities that support physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of New Jersey.
