Your Role as a CNA

You’ll play an essential part in enhancing residents’ comfort, safety, and quality of life by:

• Providing personalized care: assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals while respecting each resident’s dignity.
• Promoting comfort & safety: monitoring residents’ physical and emotional well‑being and responding to changes with care and attentiveness.
• Fostering connections: building meaningful relationships with residents and families, creating trust and a true sense of belonging.
• Maintaining cleanliness: ensuring residents’ rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Accurate documentation: recording and reporting changes in residents’ conditions and care plans to support effective teamwork.
• Collaborating with the team: working alongside nurses and healthcare staff to deliver individualized, holistic care.
• Enhancing quality of life: engaging residents in activities that support physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
