Job summary

Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation in Jamestown, KY is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide direct resident care during the day shift. Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating, and reporting changes to nursing staff, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Applicants should have at least one year of LTC CNA experience preferred, be a graduate of an accredited CNA program, and hold a current state CNA certification; knowledge of MatrixCare is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a Long Term Care CNA role is highly preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs; assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

Salary:$15.00 - $16.50 per hour (Based on shift & experience)

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
