Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team serving the Jacksonville, FL area. You will support patients with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, and medication reminders in a homecare setting.

Requirements include a CNA license, CPR card, valid driver license or state ID, TB or chest x-ray, Level 2 background check, and at least one letter of recommendation; a positive, caring attitude is essential for reliable, respectful

Qualifications

• CNA license required.
• CPR certification required.
• A valid driver license or state ID.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.).
• TB or Chest X-ray.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check.
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and CEU for medications assistance.
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, grooming).
• Assists with ambulation/transfers and mobility.
• Prepares meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompanies patient to appointments and outings.
• Performs housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dishes, laundry, cleaning).
• Provides hospice supportive care and medication reminders.
• Assists with exercises and incontinence care.
• Uses gait belts or Hoyer lifts as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license

• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
