Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach seeks compassionate CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care for clients in the Jacksonville area. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders, and errands with a focus on comfort and safety.

The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training and development, overtime pay, and mileage reimbursement. A level 2 background screen is required to join the team.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA Certificate is required.
• TB or Chest X-ray is preferred per care agency guidelines.
• CPR certification (in-person class) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Ambulation/transfers, dressing, and grooming support.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
